1. Overview
AgeGuess Cam is an iOS app that lets you take a photo with the camera or choose a photo from your library and estimate age locally on your device using built-in on-device face detection and an age estimation model. This policy applies to the AgeGuess Cam iOS app and its use.
The app is designed not to collect, upload, or share your photos or age results. Images you capture or choose stay on your device and are used only for face detection and age estimation during the current session.
2. Information We Collect
AgeGuess Cam does not collect personal information, does not create an account, and does not send data from the app to any server.

3. Camera and Photo Library Permissions
The app requests camera or photo library permission only when you actively tap "Take Photo" or "Choose from Library".
Camera permission is used to take a photo. Captured images are not saved to the system photo library or written to the app's document directory; they are used only for the current age analysis flow. Photo library access uses the iOS system picker, and the app receives only the specific image you choose.
You can turn off camera or photo library permission at any time in iOS Settings. Doing so does not affect results already generated and shown, but the app will not be able to take new photos or choose new images.
4. How Images and Age Results Are Processed
Image analysis is completed entirely on the device. The app uses built-in on-device face detection and an age estimation model. No cloud service is involved and no upload occurs during analysis.
Images and age results are used only for display in the current screen. When you close the result screen or exit the app, the related in-memory data is released. Age results are model estimates and may not be exact. They are provided for reference only and are not intended for medical diagnosis, legal determination, age verification, or any other decision that could affect the rights or interests of the person whose age is being estimated. They do not constitute medical, legal, or other professional advice.
5. Face Data
AgeGuess Cam does not collect, capture, or store face data as a dataset. When you take a photo or choose an image, the app processes the facial area of that image entirely on your device for one purpose only: to estimate a reference age, which is then shown to you on screen. The app does not create, save, or maintain face templates, faceprints, face landmark records, or any other face-data records.
Face data is never uploaded, never sent off the device, and never shared with the developer or any third party. No third-party advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting service receives any image or face data. Face data is not used for advertising, marketing, profiling, or behavioral analysis.
Face data is processed only in temporary device memory during the current analysis session. It is not written to disk, not saved to the photo library, and not stored in any database. As soon as the result screen is closed or the app is terminated, the in-memory image and any derived face data are released and can no longer be accessed. Accordingly, face data retention is limited to the duration of the current on-screen session, and no deletion request is required because nothing is retained. Uninstalling the app removes all temporary app state.
6. Third-Party Services
The app does not integrate third-party advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, crash reporting SDKs, or any third-party service that receives image content.
7. Data Storage and Deletion
Because the app does not collect personal information and does not maintain a database of user photos that can be uploaded or retained, there is no personal data that you need to request to be deleted.
You can still remove temporary app state by deleting the app. Your system photo library, iCloud, and other device data remain controlled by iOS and by you.
8. Children's Privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Minors should use the app under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
9. Privacy Protections
We protect privacy through local processing, minimal permissions, and a minimal data scope. The app does not provide photo sharing, cloud backup, or a public album, and it does not send image content to developers or third-party servers.
10. Your Rights
Because the app does not collect personal information, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete. You can still manage camera and photo library permissions through iOS Settings or uninstall the app at any time.
11. Changes to This Policy
If future app features introduce new data handling practices, we will update this page and note the new effective date. The current version does not collect, store, or upload photos or face data.
